First card certification for SELP

ECPC (European Card Payment Cooperation) is a consortium of European domestic card schemes from Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Portugal, Spain and Germany. The organization created the CPACE standard to facilitate contactless payments Europe and allow more independence from the international card schemes. First certificate for payment cards has been granted to SELP for its payment product SELP Unite v1.0 which has been developed in cooperation with NXP.

SELP Unite is a multi-applicative GlobalPlatform product, which bears both CPACE and Visa or Mastercard application, allowing the card to be processed inside and outside Europe.

Two POS terminal solutions also received CPACE certificates which reflects the readiness of the environment and its forthcoming deployment.
